Better not take your guns to town if you inadvertently cross paths with early aughts country music hit-making hombre Buddy Jewell in a warts and all interview. The Stetson-affirming guitarist won “Nashville Star” in 2003 while Miranda Lambert placed third. “When people in high positions are wrong, you lose your job and they keep theirs,” reflects Jewell. Seen here is a publicity image distributed to coincide with the release of Jewell’s seventh studio album — “My Father’s Country” — distributed on June 12, 2015.
